Newcomers shake up Terracross Championship

For the second consecutive year, the Mystik Lubricants Terracross Championship rolled a short, but hard-fought, championship season into the heart of the Midwest. The season started in Elk River, Minn., at the ERX Motor Park facilities. The tracks were again purpose built for this amalgamation of a motocross race and an obstacle course on steroids. Different track variations for the different classes of racing resulted in better racing across the board.

Carlson Motorsports Racers Whet Winter Podium Appetite with Strong Showing in Summer Side-by-Side Competition


Elk River, Minnesota (August 21st, 2013)  – The best off-road, closed course racers in North America descended upon the obstacle littered TerraCross course in Elk River, Minnesota for a double-header weekend. Carlson Motorsports riders emerged from the dust and mud with a pair of podium finishes; a victory in Pro-Am for Ryan Springer, and a hard fought second place finish in Pro for Andrew Carlson.

151 takes over ERX beatercross opener with victory


Elk River, Minnesota (June 24th, 2013)  – All the excitement of Beatercross returned to ERX Motorpark June 6th for the kickoff of the fourth season. Minivans, compact cars, light trucks and side-x-side utility vehicles alike showed up to take on the rugged and challenging track. After a several month racing hiatus due to a knee injury suffered while racing in Sweden, Carlson Motorsports rider Andrew Carlson was eager to get on the track. Carlson had his best season ever last winter in the pro lite ranks of the Amsoil Championship Snocross Series, and he quickly proved on Thursday that he is ready to compete.

Four podium weekend punctures strong finish for CM


Elk River, Minnesota (March 20th, 2013)  – You could sense the floodgates were ready to burst well before the Carlson Motorsports Team hit the monster-sized Lake Geneva track for the ISOC Season Finale this past weekend. The momentum and positive results had been accumulating race after race, and then the “burst” happened; as the team captured four podiums and a pair of top-ten year-end finishes.
